alpha2,3-sialyl-di-LacNAc is a pentasaccharide comprising two N-acetyllactosamine repeats connected by a beta1,3-glycosidic linkage. The 3-position of the terminal galactose is modified with a sialic acid and the reducing terminus is conjugated with an R-group which can represent either an aminopentanol linker or an aminopentanol conjugated to biotin.
