Helping Scientists Answer Difficult Questions…

Sentinel Standards (Sentinel) was organized by Dr. Anthony Prudden in 2019 with the goal of providing the scientific community with carbohydrate-based tools to assist scientists seeking to answer difficult questions.

Sentinel’s inaugural tool set involved the development an isotopically labeled N-linked glycan library to be used as an internal standard for Glycomics studies. Glycans are essential components of biological systems, influencing a wide range of physiological processes and playing critical roles in health and disease. Leveraging decades of experience in the fields of chemical and enzymatic carbohydrate synthesis, Sentinel has collaborated with numerous groups and organizations to creatively address their synthetic research requirements.
